Hopealinja cruises

The Hopealinja route runs between Tampere and Hämeenlinna through the beautiful landscapes of Lake Pyhäjärvi and Lake Vanajavesi. Admire the scenery, enjoy refreshments from the ship’s restaurant, and let your mind relax on the gentle waves.
With advance group bookings, the vessel also stops at the guest docks of Myllyranta and Vaihmalan Hovi.

Access to the Lempäälä Canal departure pier:
Coming from the Lempäälä town centre, after crossing the bridge over the canal, turn immediately right before Koulukatu.
At the intersection, you will see signs for “Lempäälän kanava” (Lempäälä Canal) and “Laivalaituri” (ship pier). At the end of this gravel road, there is also a parking area.

Timetables 2025: Tampere – Lempäälä – Hämeenlinna – Lempäälä – Tampere

Hopealinja operates regular cruises between Tampere, Lempäälä, and Hämeenlinna. Full schedule available at: www.hopealinjat.fi/en

Departure from Laukontori (Tampere) on Mondays at 10:00 AM, arriving at Lempäälä Canal at 12:45 PM. Spend a relaxing day in Lempäälä—or even stay the night! Return to Tampere by bus, train, or bike.

Departure from Hämeenlinna on Wednesdays at 10:00 AM, arriving at Lempäälä Canal at 3:45 PM. From the canal, it’s just a short walk to the Lempäälä railway station.

With a Bike & Boat ticket, you can travel with your bicycle aboard any Hopealinja cruise departing from the ports around Lake Pyhäjärvi. From there, continue your journey on two wheels—your imagination is the only limit!
