Lempee Sauna & Stay – Opening Autumn 2026

The historic Mäyriä recreation area in Lempäälä is being revitalised. A new public sauna, café and immersive nature accommodation will be built in the area. The beautiful lakeside scenery of Lake Pyhäjärvi and the serene surroundings of Lempee invite you to relax and unwind in peaceful natural surroundings.

Enjoy the Steam at Lempee Sauna
Lempee Sauna is a year-round sauna café located right by the water. The sauna building features separate changing rooms, showers and toilets for women and men, as well as two mixed-gender swimsuit saunas. Between sauna sessions, you can relax in the warm outdoor hot tub on the terrace, try the refreshing cold plunge pool or swim in Lake Pyhäjärvi — and in winter, of course, take a dip in the ice hole. The experience is completed by a cosy lounge area where you can enjoy café refreshments by the glow of an indoor fireplace.

  

Stay Surrounded by Nature
Lempee Stay accommodation is designed for those seeking peace and privacy without compromising on quality. Our ecological and compact experience cabins are built on pillars to respect the surrounding nature. A full glass wall at the end of the cabin opens up unobstructed panoramic views directly over the lake, making nature an integral part of the interior. Lempee Stay cabins accommodate two guests and are equipped with air conditioning, mechanical ventilation, a toilet, shower, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, tableware for two, microwave and a cooking plate.



Activities in the Area
The Mäyriä area offers diverse opportunities for outdoor recreation, including a nature trail, swimming beach, disc golf course, sports field, boat jetty, and campfire sites with a covered barbecue shelter.
We are located just 10 minutes from Lempäälä town centre and Pirkkala Airport, and less than a 30-minute drive from Tampere city centre.
